I am a Textile design graduate from the University of Huddersfield who is currently working in the textile industry. I had completed two industry placements with iinouiio Recycled Textiles and Oubas knitwear, who champion sustainable textile practices and designs.

My specialisms are Knit and textile design. I am fascinated by knitting as you can design and create your own fabric for its intended purposes, full of creative freedom and experimenting. I love working with texture, manipulating yarn and techniques to create exciting samples that influence my drawing.

During my year in industry, I discovered my passion for textile heritage and localised economies in my local area. Preserving and re-energising heritage, sustainability and skills within communities is vital and supporting creativity and local businesses, helping an area thrive, something I explored in my dissertation.
