Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I thought I would start with a little introduction about me and this blog. I am a university student studying Textiles at the University of Huddersfield, recently completing my first year slightly different than anticipated due to the pandemic but despite the abrupt ending it was amazing to be able to do something I love! I am specialising in textile design and Knit, which was an unexpected choice for me but I’m excited to see where it goes.

This blog started as a summer project, but I aim to continue posting throughout my degree if possible. The focus of each post will be textiles based and it will be a combination of single topics or a thread of blog posts about a specific topic. My aim is to discuss a variety of topics so I hope there will be something for everyone.

A bit about me… I am a movie and music fan and love to sit and have movie days or blast music and annoy everyone when I sing. I also like to explore and go walking in my area. I’m very lucky as I come from a small town in Cumbria, home to the beautiful Lake District so there’s lots of great walks and inspiration.
